Miss Lisa
Principal
Miss Lisa (Principal of Centre Stage) has been arounf performing arts her whole life. Her mother was very successful in the industry also. Lisa has extensive experience including dancing in the Optening and Closing Ceremony of the 2000 Olympics, several performances at The Opera House, music video clips, live singing performances with Marcia Hines and Human Nature with a live audience of 110,000 people plus home TV viewers. Trained as a child by a long list of reputable dance instructors and danced with reputable dancers including Steven McRae. Went on an interstate dance show tour at the age of 14. Acting coaching at ATYP, training with musical theatre greats. Lisa also joined a hip hop crew and was a dancer with Sydney West Dance Company. Teaching for 19 years, Miss Lisa opened Centre Stage in 2012, and has won Business Person of the Year of all business categories in 2018. Centre Stage holds several awards thanks to the dedicted staff and students.
Wayne Tunks
Drama/Acting
Wayne is one of Australia’s independent writers, directors and producers, having created theatre and film throughout Australia over the past 20 years. Wayne has appeared in a number of high profile TV shows and was once a story liner on ‘Neighbours’. Wayne has been the festival director for Short + Sweet Sydney, the biggest short play festival in the world. More recently Wayne wrote, directed, produced and acte din his own tv series and film. His series has currently won 22 awards around the world. Wayne has been teaching drama in Sydney and Melbourne for 17 years.
Miss Emma
Dancing
Emma is a passionate dance good teacher who looks to inspire her students to push for their greatest potential. At 10 years old she was introduced to the world of dance which she would turn into a career as a professional dancer and dance teacher. At 14 she appeared on Disney Channel Music Video “Turn It Up”. As a young adult she would go on to perform for such things such as X-Factor, Young Talent Time, Nickelodeon, a back up dancer for Johnny Ruffo and so much more. While she is still a performer and dancer herself, Emma has found a great love and passion for teaching the next generation of dancers and wishes to pass on her knowledge and love of the performing arts.
Miss Chloe
Dancing
Miss Chloe is a dancer and model here in Sydney represented by Dargie Entertainment! In 2019 Miss CHloe completed her Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) as well as her RAD Advanced Foundation Ballet Exam at Dargie Fulltime. In 2020 Chloe completed Dargie Fulltime second year and extended her training to its maximum to develop skills she can use professionally and pass onto the next generation of young dancers. Having danced professionally in and around Sydney, Chloe loves to use her expertise and skills in the classroom to hekp foster a love of dance for young students and help them reach any goals they have set.
Miss Kayla
Dancing
Miss Kayla has trained with some of the best names in the industry and has over 14 years teaching experience. Kayla has performed internationally as well as throughout Australua and her choreography alwats places highly at competitions. Kayla has choreographed her own shows and in 2012 it took out the National Winners title and won every major award including Excellence in Choreography Award for which she received a perfect score 10/10. Kayla teaches at some of the most prestigious studios in Sydney as well as at Centre Stage.
